Pastors Neil has faithfully served in ministry for more than 30 years. Pastor Neil gave his life to Christ at the age of seventeen and immediately developed a deep passion for sharing the message of Jesus with others. He is a graduate of Texas Bible Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University. Pastor Shannon also earned her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University.

Married to the love of his life, Shannon Betrue. Together, they have served in a variety of ministry roles, including Youth Pastors and Children’s Pastors, and have over 15 years of experience in prison ministry throughout Mohave County. In 2019, they felt called by God to Surprise, Arizona, where they served as Lead Pastors of Church for the Nations Surprise. They now serve as Lead Pastors of Champion Church Surprise in Surprise, Arizona. Pastor Neil also serves as a hospice chaplain with Mountain View Hospice, providing spiritual care and support to patients and families.

They are blessed with three wonderful children, an incredible son-in-law, and two grandsons who bring them great joy. Their entire family is actively involved in ministry, serving faithfully alongside them.
