Dream Big
Everyone has a dream. Oh, I know you may think some people do not. But if someone does not have a vision or a dream for success then that just mean their vision ad dream I for failure. Some refuse to dream because they feel like they can’t or they were told not to. Others may not feel like they can dream because they see no way out of where they are at. A quote from Richard Wright helps us to understand this even more. He said, “The impulse to dream has been slowly beaten out of me by the experiences of life.” It is time to change this. You can change this now!
Dreaming big is not a sin. It is what God has called us to do. God has a dream. He wants no one to perish and everyone to come to repentance. Jesus on the cross had a vision and a dream of setting people free.
What is your dream? Are you moving toward your dreams or are you moving towards your grave? You were created on purpose, for a purpose and with a purpose. You are a masterpiece.
Ephesians 2:10, For we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God has prepared in advance for me to do.
Merely wanting something is not enough. A dream without action is just a hallucination. A dream from God is not what happens when you sleep. It is what keeps you awake at night. It is time to dream again.
At church, we call our sanctuary The Dream Room. That is because I believe it is the place for people to dream again. Your life can get better. You can be successful. But you must Dream Big. The limitation is not on God but on you. Someone asked me a question before. They said, “What would you attempt to do for God if you knew you could not fail? Then what is holding you back?” Failure is not an option. You only fail if you quit. Otherwise it is just a stepping stone to learn from.
Now is the time to dream big!
Ephesian’s 3:20, God can do exceedingly, abundantly more than all you can ask, think and imagine.” Ask, think, imagine.
Make a decision today to Dream Big!
